KIMOHA PACKAGING ARTWORK PREPARATION GUIDELINES
In order for us at Kimoha to ensure your timelines are met, we request you to please follow the below art specifications for every product.
TRANSFER MEDIA:
Email, CD, DVD
ARTWORK FORMAT:
Adobe Illustrator 8, 9, 10 till CS5.
Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Corel Draw version 14
LAYOUT AND LINE ART:
The line art part of a design must be created in Adobe Illustrator.
Line Images created in Adobe Photoshop will have ragged edges and look unsharp and can cause problems on the press.
Text in the Illustrator to be converted to curves so as to avoid missing fonts. Otherwise Fonts need to be provided separately.
Images are recommended to be in Adobe Photoshop with a high resolution - 300 dpi and also in Layered * files. Images given in low resolution will not give the best print result.
* Layered file is one where each element of the design is on a separate layer allowing elements of the design to be removed or edited as required. |
